Vimal Refined Cottonseed Oil is rich in Vitamin E. It’s light, non oily consistency and high smoke point make it most desirable for cooking stir fry, as well as for frying. Unlike some oils, it has a long shelf life and does not deteriorate at high temperatures. Refined and packed at our state-of-the-art refinery makes it the most preferred edible oil.

Cottonseed Oil means the oil is extracted from clean, sound, delinted and decorticated cotton seeds (genus Gossypium). It is refined, clear, and free from rancidity, suspended or other foreign matter, separated water, added colouring or flavouring substances or mineral oil. It conforms to the following standards:-

SPECIFICATIONS

1	Butyro-refractometer reading at 40’C Refractive Index at 40’C	55.6 to 60.2 OR 1.4630 to 1.4660

2.	Saponification value	190 to 198

3.	Iodine Value	98 to 112

4.	Unsaponifiable matter	not more than 1.5 per cent

5.	Acid value	not more than 0.50 per cent

6.	There shall be no turbidity after keeping the filtered sample at	30’c for 24hours

7.	Bellier Turbidity Temp. test – Acetic acid method	19.0’C to 21.0’C
